New Year, New ????

Although my own personal New Year is in September*, I always get excited about new beginnings in January, too. There's nothing like the feeling of pure potentiality that the New Year brings, but the key is to keep that excitement and commitment through the rest of the year. Perhaps when I've learned to do that, I'll have to find some other reason to get motivated in the month of January (heaven knows it's not the weather!).

I've put together a couple of new tools - Yearly Mission Review and Yearly Mission and Goals - to help assess how I did on last years' goals and to help determine my mission for '09 so that I can establish some goals and plan my projects and schedule accordingly. These will be the first of the tools I'll be sharing via free pdf download, hopefully by the end of January (I know it's a little late for your New Years resolutions, but you'll still have 11/12ths of the year to implement your plans).

I have been working now for over a year with several tools that I also plan to share through this site: Day Planner & Daily Review, Health Tracker & Review, Week Planner & Review, Menu Planner and Shopping List, Weekly Budget Tracker & Review, and a Project Planner with associated Time Tracker, Contacts, and Key. Since I've developed and designed these forms for my own use, I'm looking forward to getting feedback and suggestions from others to see how universal these techniques really are....and as usual, I'm always looking for more efficient ways to live my own Creative Life. My hope is that I can share what I've learned with a community of like-minded people.

I'm also listing a few items on eBay this month...Kim has some nice Brighton bracelets, and I'm finally going to sell that beautiful Brighton computer/overnight traveler that I had hoped to use when I was traveling more a few years ago.  It's still in the box with all the tags, but I have no use for it now and can't afford the luxury of having a $475. overnight case just sitting in the closet...my closet real estate is just too valuable!
